Rules for using Novash, including acceptable use, liability limits, and termination. Last updated: April 20, 2026.

Placeholder terms

Replace this entire document with counsel-approved terms before you invite real users.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Novash ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Novash is a password management service that helps you store, generate, and use credentials across devices. The Service uses encryption designed so vault contents are not readable to Novash in plaintext form.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must provide accurate account information and protect your credentials. You are responsible for activity performed with your authenticated sessions.

3.2 Account Security

Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You acknowledge that loss of a master password or recovery material may cause irreversible loss of vault access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to:

  • Access data you are not authorized to access
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without permission
  • Interfere with other users or the operation of the Service
  • Use the Service to violate applicable law

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, branding, and related materials are owned by Novash or its licensors. Do not copy or redistribute proprietary assets except as permitted by law or explicit license.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for backups and recovery planning appropriate to your risk tolerance.

7. Service Availability

The Service may change, pause, or become unavailable. Describe maintenance windows, SLAs (if any), and exclusions here.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novash is not liable for indirect damages or consequential losses arising from use of the Service.

Insert jurisdiction-specific caps and carve-outs as required by counsel.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Novash against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these terms, subject to limits permitted by law.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate use as described in your product flows.

Describe data deletion timelines and export options.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Describe how users are notified and when continued use constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

Insert governing law and venue after counsel review.
